You know how you always seem to hear the right thing at the right time, exactly when you need it? When you’re scrolling through your Facebook/Twitter/Instagram feed and someone posts an inspirational quote which feels as if it was posted specially for you? Well, watching this video made me feel this way.
It’s a short, seven minute sermon and it reaches deep (yo.). It’s incredible how God can give you exactly what you need at the exact time you need it 🙂
I’ve been feeling a bit lost lately, as if I’m floating from one task/assignment/deadline to the next and I’m barely managing. Until this weekend, when it all came tumbling down and I realised (with the help of my best friend) that I had lost my motivation. I lost the reason I had started studying in the first place. I lost the love of it, the thought of doing it to help people and have an amazing life worth living. I was so busy making sure everything was done and in order, making sure everyone else was happy and staying afloat, that I starting sinking. I forgot about God’s promises for my life, that He holds me and He is my comforter. I forgot that God can use me, exactly where I am and use the space that I’m in as preparation for what lies ahead.
This happens often though, it happens to each of us at some point or another and the turning point is when you get yourself together, cry it our and find your inspiration again. Take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Realise that your life, although performed by you, is not in your hands. You were created for a purpose greater than you could ever imagine 🙂
So even though it’s Monday and I started my day with decaff coffee (really guys, decaff?) I had an awesome gym session and therefore an awesome start to my day and week! I know I’ll have low moments again, but as long as I have a solid support system and a strong heart, I know that I have nothing to fear.
The Anima Series is incredible, be sure to check out some more of their videos 🙂

I have and probably will always post things from The Daily Positive website. It’s by far one of the most inspiring things to pop into my mail box on a daily basis.
This video however, was absolutely amazing. It intrigued me because I’m an introvert and I thought ‘Hey this must be something special about my kind of people!’ I wasn’t wrong. People often put people into boxes. You’re a big loud mouth, you’re this way and you’re passive and quiet, so you’re this way. They expect the two to be mutually exclusive. With the one being the polar opposite the the other, so the one has to be the greater, no? No.
The truth is, that without the other, neither one would thrive. But! Before I get ahead of myself, watch this video and find out for yourself 🙂

Love and happy thoughts 🙂
So I didn’t think I could love Emma Stone more than I already do. Seriously, I love the Movie EasyA, I watch it at least once a week 😀 But I was proved wrong today, after I watched this video! The coolest kid on the block, is also a big Spice Girls fan! I think she might be the biggest fan, she cried when Mel B spoke to her via webchat! Any 90’s kid girl would be able to relate to the intense love and adoration for the girl band! This just makes our bond with her that much stronger!
I remember, I was about 8 or 9 and I was a obsessed! I had it all, the movie on VHS, the bag, the poster, the t-shirt, the body spray, the jewellery… The only thing I didn’t have was the shoes and a one way ticket to London 😦 Oh well, you can’t have it all! Every time I watched the movie, I wore the same green dress, so that at the end, when Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) would point at the screen and say “You, no not you. You, with the green dress…” I would pretend she was talking directly to me 🙂 Am I weird? Of course I am. But so are you, because we all have something that we’ve loved so much as children and that will always remain special to us 🙂
Thank you Emma Stone for showing us that one is never to old to still appreciate the things that once made us smile 🙂 And! How cute is Andrew Garfield for freaking out along side her! Too adorable for words.

This is so cool! I’ve been in the process of trying to limit my Social Media Time. That includes less time checking Twitter updates as well as less time scrolling to see the cool pictures of dogs and rainbows on Instagram 🙂
I do this because it does become overwhelming at times and, being a working student, it’s simply time wasted that I could be using way more effectively. But when I saw this on Dale Patridge’s site “The Daily Positive” I immediately searched for it on Youtube!
Although a bit impractical and rather tricky to pull of stylishly, I think it’s very cute and will definitely make people appreciate the things that are right in front of them 🙂
I know this is not social media related, but Alex has started a little SIMS community not too long ago. I think it’s fun and all, it just get’s on my nerves sometimes when the little notification says ‘soosoo’. It’s like ‘hey! We’re done with the things you gave us to do! Give us more things to do!’ And of course, being the dillegent person that he is, he’s going to tend to them. So being my joyful self, trying to turn it into a not-so-frustrating situation, whenever the notification goes off, I mimic it (Alex finds it hilarious) so we laugh and then he sees to his little people in the metal book. And, to add to that, if I’m trying to get his attention when he’s busy, I also use that opportunity to say ‘soosoo’ which works like a charm 😀 (I told you it was unrelated!)
So folks, enjoy this cute little Coca-Cola add, and although funny, has so much truth hidden underneath 😉

So a dear friend of mine (Thank you Lotie), whom I haven’t seen in nearly 4 years posted this video onto my Facebook wall, about 3 or so days ago. I hadn’t had the chance to listen to it and anyway, I did tonight.
It’s so precious. I’m not the biggest Bruno Mars fan, I’m not even the second biggest Bruno Mars fan. I’ll sing along to his tunes and tap my foot to the rhythm of his music, still, I wouldn’t call myself a fan. But. This song. Is the sweetest song I’ve listened to in a very, very long time. It might just be because the music video is so darn cute, (I love darn cute music videos) either way, it’s the cutest thing you’ll see today. And if I’m wrong and you do in fact see something cuter today, PLEASE send it to me so that I can share in your cuteness!
For now, enjoy the cutest thing you’ll see in the next few minutes. I can assure you, your heart will melt and you will want to cry 🙂

How cool is this? Yes, the song is amaze and so is the musician. I love. I just love. I’m not procrastinating by the way… Ok. I am. But I have to get it all out! And! It’s of great benefit to the world because Ben Howard is totally incredible and his music makes you want to float to said awesome happy island 🙂

So I have a younger sister, her name is Carrie-Ann. She hates it when people call her on her full name, so she kinda goes by ‘Carrie’ these days. Anyway, she’s incredibly cool and has impeccable taste in music. When I asked her for some advice on some music for my revamped gym playlist (which is extremely important to me) she suggested this song.
Boy, was she right. I love it. I love it and I just can’t get enough of it. It takes me to a place of pure bliss, a place where it’s just me and my heart rate monitor haha. Seriously, I got my heart rate up to 195 with this song (I even started running. Yes, it’s that good).
I haven’t had the chance to listen to the rest of what this talented artist has to offer, but I’m guessing it’s probably amazing!
